– On Monday, a faction of the irate youths attacked the Olomu Aperan Microfinance Bank, vandalizing the bank’s CCTV camera, signboard, and damaging three vehicles parked in the bank’s premises.
The police responded swiftly to the incidents, and reinforcements were deployed to the scene. The bank staff were safely escorted to the station, and five suspects were arrested in connection with the attack. The Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo, has ordered intensified patrols and surveillance to prevent a recurrence.
