Edo State Chapter of Nigeria Union Of Teachers (NUT) should take a clue from the above-suspended plan strike and call off its strike in the interest of our children and return to the negotiation table.
Our children have lost one month in their academic session already, Edo NUT should not abandon them to their fate. The NUT strike actions are directly denying our children their right to go to school and learn, as school resumption draws nearer#The interest of our children is paramount!
Dialogue is the best option for Edo NUT to press home their demands. The Performing Governor Godwin Obaseki is determined to do everything within his power to meet NUT demands.
The Performing Governor has been fair to Edo State civil servants. He is determined to do more. NUT should call off its strike actions.
