Late Junior Pope betrayed me repeatedly – Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie, a popular Nigerian actor, recently spoke out about his absence at the burial of his late colleague, Junior Pope. In a social media post, Edochie revealed that he did not attend the burial due to the betrayal he experienced from the late movie producer. While he did not provide specific details about the betrayal, Edochie expressed his disappointment and stated that he considered Pope to be like a brother to him.

In his post, Edochie also cautioned his followers about the consequences of wishing ill upon others, emphasizing that their wishes could come back to haunt them. However, his comments were met with criticism from Nigerians, who questioned his sanctimonious nature and his ability to forgive, especially considering his proclamation of being a pastor.

It is worth noting that Edochie recently launched an online ministry and conducted his inaugural church service on his YouTube channel, True Salvation Ministry. During this service, he shared his spiritual journey, including the moment he felt called by God to serve Him and humanity. Edochie described a life-altering car accident as the turning point that led him to fully embrace his divine calling.

The actor’s comments about Junior Pope and his experiences have sparked a debate among his followers and the public. Many are disappointed with his inability to let go of past grievances, while others question the authenticity of his spiritual journey. The reactions on social media have been mixed, with some expressing support for Edochie and others criticizing his actions.
