The incidents reportedly affected traffic flow on the busy corridor as emergency responders and traffic management officials worked to recover vehicles and clear obstructions from the roadway. The disruption was particularly severe for motorists travelling from Lagos towards Ogun State, with traffic queues stretching across significant sections of the expressway.

According to reports, a truck crash near Kara Bridge compounded the already difficult traffic situation, forcing hundreds of motorists to remain trapped for extended periods.
