The infant, found in the Tayi area of Minna, was wrapped in leather, devoid of clothing, and covered in ants before being discovered on a Saturday evening.
Aliyu Bala Ibrahim, a resident, described the scene as tragic, emphasizing the need for strict penalties against those who commit such acts. The baby still had his umbilical cord attached, indicating he was born just a few hours before being callously abandoned without even basic care.
