NYSC Fixes July 9, 2026, for Passing Out of 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I, marking the completion of their one-year national service across Nigeria.

According to details released by the scheme, the passing out exercise will be conducted in a low key format nationwide. The programme will culminate in the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members at Local Government Areas across the country.

Activities leading to the passing-out ceremony began on Tuesday, June 23, with Job Advisory and Counselling programmes organized at the Local Government level in collaboration with relevant agencies. The sessions are intended to support outgoing corps members as they transition into employment, entrepreneurship and other post-service opportunities.

Between June 25 and June 30, corps members are expected to be released by their employers, complete registration and clearance with Local Government Inspectors, and obtain final clearance endorsements from Zonal Inspectors. The NYSC will also administer its Form 4B questionnaire online to a selected 30 per cent of outgoing corps members.

The announcement comes as thousands of Nigerian graduates prepare to exit the national service scheme, which remains a major requirement for many employment opportunities in both public and private institutions. Corps members have been advised to complete all required clearance procedures promptly and verify updates through official NYSC communication channels.

The NYSC’s official online portal continues to provide services including certificate verification, remobilization and mobilisation updates for graduates and serving corps members.
