Di new Dangote price go start from Saturday, September 12, 2026. Na n85 increase, e be like 6 something. 7 percent na so dem talk am Dis na di fourth time wey Dangote refinery don raise im petrol gantry price since August 21. For only 22 days, refinery price don jump by like n185, na about 15 percent. 9 percent na so.

For Lagos, some mrs stations don raise their petrol price reach like N1,395 per litre, but some other stations still dey sell am for cheaper price. For Abuja, madam don reach like N1,395, some Nipco station dem dey sell for around N1,430, Mobil one na around N1,400. Dis one dey show say petrol price fit change based on di station, where e dey and how dem take carry am come.

Di new increase dey happen as international crude oil price still high. Brent crude don pass 100 dollar for one barrel, prices just dey climb reach 104, even touch like 107-108 now. Tension and fight for Middle East side, especially wahala wey dey affect oil waka through Strait of Hormuz, don make people dey fear say global oil supply fit drop.

Di rise fit put more wahala for transport and di price for food plus oda tins because plenti business for Nigeria dey depend on petrol to carry people and goods go. Di wahala fit strong pass for places like Abuja and northern cities because fuel gats waka long from di coastal supply centres, dem go add transport and distribution cost for di final price.

The latest development also come as Dangote Refinery continue to play bigger role for Nigeria fuel market. The refinery, wey start operation for 2024, dey increase production and don become an important source of petrol for the country. Reuters report say the refinery dey plan to expand its processing capacity from about 700,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day by 2029.

For now, motorist dem go need waka check different filling station before dem buy because pump price no be the same everywhere. If global crude oil price and transport cost still dey climb, Naija people fit feel more wahala for petrol price soon.
