The Ogun State Police Command has announced the arrest of Shedrack Olawale Olayemi, who had been on their wanted list for armed robbery and the alleged rape of several female students at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, in July. The arrest was made by officers from the Igbeba Division, Ijebu-Ode, following an intelligence report that revealed Olayemi’s presence near the university, where he had been trying to conceal his identity.
Olayemi, aged 33, was implicated in an armed robbery and rape that occurred on July 21, 2024, at the Royal Villa accommodation near the university.
