Born on the 23rd of September in the late 80s, Edemakhiota Mario popularly known as DJ Mario was born and brought up in Benin City, Edo state. He is a talented Nigerian singer and DJ, he has gained popularity for his song “Say No To Irregular Migration”, “Igho” and “Ederaho” both in English and Bini dialect.

The song “Say No To Irregular Migration” that talks about the dangers of Irregular Migration and human trafficking which was released in 2018 which caught the attention of many in 2023, it was produced by GudBoi Production.

The success of the song led to Dj Mario being invited to perform at different shows and concert across Nigeria, following the song’s impressive performance on social media platforms like Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube and Audiomack, with over 1,500,000 views accross social media platforms.

The song which talks about his migration experience through the desert and Mediterranean Sea has now become an anthem across Nigeria and oversea.

With his unique style and cultural pride, DJ MARIO remains a rising star in the Nigerian music scene earning recognition for his music.
