The confirmation came when the appointee appeared before senate chamber for screening in Abuja.
Engr Muazu Sambo who has served in several capacities for 35 years, such as Nigeria Port Authority and Banking sector said he has sufficient knowledge in the infrastructural development sector and assured Nigerians of his ability to deliver.
Asked how he would use his wealth of experience to make Mambila power project work, Looking at the myriad of problems associated to the power project including court cases, Engr Muazu Sambo said the problem of Mambila is Human and having come from Taraba he would be able to solve the problems of Mambila in a short time.
Speaking to National Assembly correspondents soon after the confirmation, Engr Muazu Sambo appealed for prayer from the public while assuring Nigerians that he would do his best, the confidence repose in him by Mr president.
Recall that the Ministers of power and Agriculture were sacked recently by Mr president for poor performance and immediately appointed Muazu Sambo and that of Agriculture as ministers designate subject to senate confirmation.
