Popular entertainer and singer, Oludipe David, known by his stage name Spyro, recently made an intriguing revelation about a situation he would actively avoid. In a post on his Instagram handle, Spyro disclosed that he would never allow himself to be left alone in a room with media personality Nengi Hampson, popularly known as Nengi.
During an interview, Spyro was asked about a female in the industry he would never want to be left alone with. He candidly responded, “That would be Nengi. I don’t like people who act too self-righteous. I’m just me, and I’m not perfect, so I prefer to stay away from any situation involving Nengi, to avoid any unnecessary complications.”
Spyro humorously captioned his post, sharing an anecdote about an encounter with Nengi at a show. He wrote, “I once bumped into her at a show, and she sat right across from me. I had to keep rebuking the devil to leave my head until I eventually had to flee.”
Spyro is a talented singer and songwriter who gained recognition with the release of his song “Billing” in July 2022. His hit track “Who is your Guy?” was initially released in November 2022, and the remix featuring Tiwa Savage was released in March 2023. Spyro has collaborated with various artists such as Mayorkun, Dremo, Sound Sultan, Diamond Platnumz, and Davido.
Meanwhile, Nengi is a model, reality TV star, businesswoman, and social media influencer who rose to fame after her participation in Big Brother Naija season 5 (Lockdown) in 2024. Her captivating personality and style have garnered a significant following on social media.
It is worth noting that Spyro’s revelation about avoiding being alone with Nengi is a personal preference and does not imply any negative sentiment towards her. Each individual has their own comfort levels and boundaries when it comes to personal interactions.
