The Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj-Gen. Edward Buba, revealed that the military’s aggressive operations have resulted in the neutralization of 8,034 terrorists, the arrest of 11,623 others, and the rescue of 6,376 hostages The military has also recovered a substantial amount of stolen crude oil, valued at N57,052,218,551
Maj-Gen. Buba assured that the military is maintaining the pressure through ongoing operations in various theatres nationwide. He stated that the military is increasingly creating conditions in which terrorists cannot carry out acts of terror or harm citizens ¹. The armed forces are constantly examining ways to improve the effectiveness of their operations and guarantee the safety of citizens ¹.
