Countries in the Middle East and around the world have voiced fear of a regional conflagration after the United States and Israel carried out strikes on Iran on Saturday.
The attacks have sparked a flurry of reactions from world leaders, with many calling for restraint and de-escalation.
Former President Dmitry Medvedev said talks with the US were just a “cover” and that Russia’s citizens should leave Iran.
Initially said it was secure, but later reported intercepting an Iranian missile and repelling “a number of attacks”.
Warned the situation was “perilous” and called for civilians to be protected, with European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen urging “all parties to exercise restraint”
Fared the strikes could blow up into a broader Middle East conflict, urging citizens in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE to find shelter.
Military said its air force was working to protect the kingdom and its people, intercepting two ballistic missiles targeting the kingdom.
Blamed Iran’s government for the attacks, citing its “violence against its own people and other countries”.
Prioritised the safety of its citizens, with Deputy Defence Minister Alice Rufo saying Paris was monitoring the situation closely.
Called for restraint, de-escalation, and dialogue, warning that conflict could harm people on the continent.
