The Benin Kingdom, one of the most ancient kingdoms of the world is known for many things, but what it’s perhaps best known for is its prominent ruler, The Oba of Benin – A monarch of no mean repute.
As a true and illustrious daughter of the great Benin Kingdom, Dr Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor on Thursday, June 15 led her team to the famous palace of the Oba of Benin – Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolorkpolor, Oba Ewuare II, to present her free health outreach project to the monarch and solicit for his prayers and the collaboration of his NGO, The Oba Ewuare Foundation.
The Dr Loretta Free Health Outreach entourage was ushered into the highly famed palace of the Benin paramount ruler at about 4:30 pm.
Stepping into the awe-inspiring palace court, the first thing that hits you is the beauty and breathtaking ambience of the palace. Within this serene, sacred and ancient atmosphere, the beautiful and charismatic Dr Loretta Ogboro-Okor was introduced to the Oba and she proceeded to eloquently present her initiative and project before the supreme head of the Benin Kingdom.
She also solicited a partnership between her outreach and the king’s foundation, The Oba Ewuare Foundation which is already on an international level.
Accompanying her were her husband, A well celebrated Neurosurgeon – Dr Douglas Emeka Okor, Mr Festus Ogbeiwi, Mr Romanus Woghiren – a Labour Party chieftain, as well as many other prominent individuals
