Ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, the Covid-19 test procedure was carried out on Players and officials of Rivers United football club of Port Harcourt.
General Manager of the “Pride of Rivers” Chief Okey Kpalukwu says management is working to ensuring the team is ready for the new season.
” It is very important to us as management to ensure we get our team ready for the task that is ahead. With the testing done, I can say we are on the right track”. Kpalukwu told Obaland Magazine.
The COVID-19 test is in compliance with the (NFF) Club Licensing Regulations by the League Management Company (LMC) and in line with the protocols and guidelines of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC)
