Sylvester Okoduwa (born 01/11/1990) in Arue Esan central-local government area in Edo State, commonly known by his stage name (Sylvester Whiteman production), is a veteran songwriter, motivational Speaker, Activist, On-Air Personality, Business mogul, drummer and a Cultural Ambassador. He came to limelight with his popular works , such as IF GOD NA MAN, OVBIALEKE, OSA WELEMENE, CHAMPAGNE and SHE HOT LIKE FIRE.
Early life & education:
Sylvester Okoduwa are real names of Sylvester Whiteman production, (born 01/11/1990) in Arue Esan central-local government area in Edo State where he completed both his primary and secondary education. Sylvester is the seventh born of seven siblins. He attended Aduwawa Secondary School and proceeded his music career at music academy in France.
Career:
In 2003 he emerged into his professional music career and went on to release his debut single “IF GOD NA MAN” , catapulting him to be listed at top 10 great singers from Esan central-local Government area in Edo State by music legends like WADADA and other reliable media platforms from Esan land, followed by other critically acclaimed songs, such as “OVBIALEKE” , “OSA WELEMENE”, “CHAMPAGNE” and “SHE HOT LIKE FIRE” that finally brought him to prominence within Nigerians in diaspora and Nigeria at large. He’s passion for guitar and his inimitable velvety vocals first hit first position in 2014, during Africa diaspora singing competition with over 800 reciepients, an annual event held at Conservatorio in Italy by Association of Afro music. In an interview with Obaland Magazine reporter Mr Marvin, Sylvester claimed to be a versatile musician “i do various educational songs” he said, He is known for promoting and hosting notable ciultural events, such as Igue and Ekaba festival, where he performed as one of the the lead artist of the linup artists and a motivational Speaker. He is recently based in Europe with his family.
