Authentic Nigeria football Supporters club in Benin on Saturday was honored as Soccer Ambassador by the organizers of Miss Football Nigeria which held in Benin over the weekend
Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi was honored by the group for his massive contributions towards the development of the round leather game in Nigeria.
“I have known Bonfrere (Prince Ogunjimi) since my playing days and his contributions to Nigerian football can not be overstated, I am happy with the new innovations he is bringing into football supporters in Nigeria, he has taken the game to the next level” stated Augustine Eguavoen, Technical Director of the Nigerian Football Federation while presenting the award to Prince Ogunjimi.
Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi dedicated the award to the members of Authentic Nigeria football Supporters club whom he described as very supportive in rebranding the supporters club in Nigeria.
The award was presented by the Vice-chancellor of the University of Benin and the technical director of the Nigerian football federation.
The Miss Football beauty pageant is in its 4th edition and it aims to promote unity and togetherness in Nigerian football.
