Atalanta-Juventus 1-1: Danilo at last 1:1

In the postponement of the 25th matchday of Serie A 2021-22  between Atalanta and Juventus,  finished 1-1: Malinovski’s goal in the 75th minute and Danilo’s equalizer in the 92nd minute.

SUMMARY 

Allegri decides to go with the heavy attack, consisting of Dybala, Vlahovic, and Morata. In Szczesny gate; back four defense with Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt, and De Sciglio; and three-way midfield with McKennie (in place of Zakaria), Locatelli, and Rabiot. Bench for Cuadrado.

Juve in the first quarter of an hour is the absolute master of the field. Vlahovic at 3 ‘and 12’ worries Sportiello, who first deflects for a corner and then sees the Serbian’s ball come out, well served by McKennie.  

Then it’s Dybala, on 15 ‘, with a left-handed player who touches the intersection.

At 25 ‘, Atalanta’s first conclusion with Djimsiti making the bank, with a header, for the rushing De Roon, but his attempt ends up over the crossbar. 

At half an hour Orobic protests for an exit of Szczesny which comes into contact with Koopmeiners. The Atalanta would like red: continue. 

At 38 ‘heavy yellow for Danilo, late on Boga: he was warned, he will miss the derby with Turin on Friday.

At 45 ‘the great opportunity for Atalanta but De Ligt, with a header, deflects Boga’s close-range shot and saves the Bianconeri. 

Second half summary

Also in the second half, it is Juventus alone. First with Morata who, after triangulation with McKennie, shoots with the first intention but the ball ends up over the crossbar. 

Then it’s up to Dybala, who tries from the edge in the 50th minute: his shot ends up high. Finally, Vlahovic who in the 53rd minute kicks and finds Sportiello’s response.

From 67 ‘onwards Atalanta comes out and with Koopmeiners, on a wrong shot by Boga, close to the advantage. Three minutes later, Djimsiti nearly owns a goal on the development of a corner.

After 381 minutes, Szczesny’s unbeaten run ends Malinovski’s bomb on a free-kick, a ball that takes on a very special effect. The Polish goalkeeper can do nothing: Atalanta has the advantage. 

Allegri changes and inserts Cuadrado in place of Bonucci, at 78 ‘, to give a more offensive push to his team. All in all for Juve in the 80s, when Kean enters in place of McKennie: and now he sides with a 4-2-3-1. 

83 Hateboer catches across a few centimeters from the door after yet another invention by Malinovski. 

85 out Morata and Rabiot: in their place Arthur and Aké. 

At 92 ‘it is Danilo who finds an unexpected equalizer with a header on the developments of a corner.
