The kept suspended legislative leader of the National Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, will today, realize his destiny concerning the

Review that on July 10, the DSS captured the legislative head of the peak bank soon after President Bola Tinubu suspended him from office and requested a test of the CBN.
In the suit, documented through his legal counselor, Joseph Daudu (SAN), before the Government Capital Region High Court, Abuja, Emefiele is charging an infringement of his common liberties.
The Federation’s Attorney General is one of the suit’s respondents; the Chief General of the DSS and the DSS, who have recorded primer complaints, provoking the ward of the court to engage the case and it be excused to encourage that the suit.
Through its attorney, I. Awo, the DSS informed Justice Hamza Muazu at the hearing on June 20 that Emefiele’s detention was legal because the DSS had obtained an order from an FCT Chief Magistrates’ Court to keep him in custody until the investigation was finished.
On his part, counsel for the AGF, Tijjani Ghazali (SAN), contended that Emefiele’s capture and confinement by the DSS was a managerial choice of the chief arm of government and asked the court not to meddle.
Daudu, Emefiele’s attorney, disagreed, asserting that the suit had merit.
Today is the deadline for Justice Muazu to decide whether or not he has the authority to hear the case and to consider Emefiele’s prayers.
