Apart from the Coronavirus pandemic which is currently making life inconvenience for everybody.#God forbid!
The Edo NUT strike is affecting everybody in one way or the other unknown to many.
Firstly, Edo NUT has denied our children their right to go to school as school resumption draws nearer.
Secondly, Edo NUT has denied our youths who applied for the recent teaching job their right to employment because the strike action is really affecting those who will come out successful-thereby putting their “suppose” source of income in suspension.
Thirdly, the strike action is bringing major setbacks to our education, as other states are progressing.
Fourthly, no matter how long the strike action will last, the Government will always be the winner, etc.
It is on record that the teachers received their basic salaries etc as when due-even January alert they have received. So, the NUT should be patriotic enough to call off its strike actions and return to the negotiation table.
That is only fair!
