Barely 24 hours after unknown gunmen set the correctional center and police Headquarters in Owerri ablaze, a divisional police Headquarters in Ehime Mbano council area of Imo State has also been attacked by hoodlums.
This latest development is coming few hours Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola and Former Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu visited the State to assess the level of damages occasioned by Monday’s attack on the security facilities.
Imo State Police Command Public Relations Officer has confirmed the attack nothing that no casualty on the part of Police or loss of arms, but three vehicles were burnt by the attackers.
