Fighting Benue ladies block Makurdi/Abuja thruway as herders kill five

Fighting Benue ladies mounted a road obstruction on Makurdi/Laafia/Abuja government interstate on Friday, following the killing of five individuals by thought herders.

As per a nearby who basically recognized himself as Bright, five individuals were killed in isolated assaults by thought herders in two networks in the Guma Neighborhood Government area of Benue State.

Radiant who addressed our journalist on the telephone said that three individuals were killed Thursday night at Ngban and one more two at Nyian.

Affirming the report, the security official of Guma Nearby Government, Christopher Waku, said that five individuals were killed by thought herders.

Waku said, “Our ladies have marched out to the Makurdi/Abuja government thruway since 5 am today, you can hear from the foundation how they are singing close to home melodies and no vehicle coming from one or the other Abuja or Makurdi can move now.

“The ladies are fighting the killing of five individuals yesterday night and earlier today (Friday).

He added, “Three individuals were killed at Ngban yesterday night and two individuals killed at Nyian toward the beginning of today, the ladies have said that they won’t leave the street until the lead representative comes and converses with them. I’m correct now at the street the ladies are fighting sitting tight for lead representative, Fire up Fr Hyacinth Alia.”
