Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Wunmi Toriola have emerged as the highest-grossing lead actresses in 2025, according to FilmOne, a movie distribution company.
Akindele took the top spot with her film “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” while Toriola came in second with her movie “Queen Lateefah.” Toyin Abraham secured the third position with her film “Alakada Bad and Boujee.”
Other actresses who made the top 10 list include Tomike Adeoye, Eniola Ajao, Kehinde Bankole, Adunni Ade, Uche Nwaefuna, Regina Daniel, and Gbugbemi Ejeye.
FilmOne announced the rankings on its Instagram page, @filmoneng, recognizing the outstanding performances of these actresses in the Nigerian film industry.
