Ignore Five-day sit-at-home Order, IPOB Tells South-East Residents

Residents of the South-East have been informed by the Indigenous People of Biafra that there will be no five-day order to stay indoors.

The group urged the populace to disregard the directive, calling it the “senseless” work of individuals opposed to the Biafra cause.

Due to a video that has been going around online, telling residents in the South and East to stay inside from December 9-14, 2022, authorities have taken this measure.

However, in a statement published by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the organization denied ever issuing a sit-at-home directive on the days in question.

“We desire to state unambiguously to the people of Biafra, allies of Biafra, and lovers of Biafra freedom that IPOB leadership did not issue any sit-at-home order on the 9th,10th,11th,12th,13th, or 14th of December 2022,” read part of the statement.

We are neither criminals, idiots, nor jobless, hence IPOB never issued a sit-in order on the days listed above.

“Every Biafran and resident of Biafra Land should ignore such instructions from unskilled and brainless individuals whose goal is to make Biafra agitation unattractive to our people. On certain dates, every citizen of Biafra is obligated to go about their daily routines as usual.

During this crucial time of year when people are seeking to make up in their enterprises for the year, “IPOB who is concerned about our people cannot issue such brainless uncaring five-day consecutive sit at home order to suffer our people.”

A Nigerian agent and his sponsors came up with the idea of a five-day sit-in to demonstrate how evil and hateful they are toward our people. Their goal is to induce fear and hardship among our people so that they will give up their pursuit of Biafra independence. How evil!

Repeatedly, everyone has the right to go unmolested to their pooling and registration center to pick up their PVC. IPOB has never called for a boycott of elections and is not responsible for the chaos in Nigeria’s voting process.

Anyone who tries to implement such a terrible sit-at-home should be met with force by our people. In addition, ESN agents and IPOB volunteers will be active on these dates to keep our people and our businesses safe.

Similarly, Biafran youth should be prepared to fight off anyone who tries to coerce them into the closing shop on these days.

The IPOB leadership has never authorized anyone to issue an order of such size in Biafraland, thus the miscreants who are issuing the order should realize that it will not work out for them.

Our people need to feel safe going about their daily lives and working. As a result of IPOB’s efforts, the agenda lists and their footsoldiers in Biafra territory are now in check. Restoration of Biafra is proceeding smoothly, and we must leave this prison called Nigeria at the mercy of Elohim.
