Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike, JP, has thrown his weight behind the Anambra state chapter of Youth Sports Federations Of Nigeria (YSFON) by endorsing the inaugural Igwe Nanka YSFON U-17 tournament, Obaland Magazine learned.
Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike who is a renowned grassroots sports promoter said ” “I’m in love with Anambra State Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YSFON, for this wonderful initiative and would give my support to encourage and motivate the organizers of the tournament,”.
“I’m also full of gratitude to the Igwe of Nanka for throwing his royal weight behind the State YSFON in the area of youth engagement, it is always my desire to see Youths being gainfully engaged, I have been promoting Sports in various places, I didn’t think twice to accept to be a special guest once I heard that it is my state of origin Anambra state. It has been a long that we had it so good and I am ready to contribute my quota in positioning Anambra state as a sporting state”
He called on eminent personalities from the state to promote sports at the grassroots level to unearth the sporting talents of youths in the state.
Chief Donatus who doubles as Nigeria Pillar of Sports after the late MKO Abiola has contributed much in sports development across the country and has been waxing strong.
