The consulate and the immigration department recently carried out a massive intervention in saving the cost and burden of the Nigerians resident in Palermo, during the visit the consulate and the immigration department  were able to at list resolve 80% of the immigration issues ravaging some of the Nigerians living in that territory,
His excellency Mr. Mfawa Omini Abam commended the crew for their unselfish and willingness to serve their country Nigeria with their strength and added that: He will continue to do his best to make sure immigration matters in the embassy will be attended to respectively
