Workers’ Day: Enabulele Salutes Workforce, Urges Renewed Commitment

BENIN — The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has congratulated Nigerian workers on the occasion of Workers’ Day, commending their resilience, dedication, and contributions to national and state development.

In a statement issued on Friday by his Media Aide, Edoko Wilson Edoko, Enabulele described workers as the “backbone of progress,” noting their critical role in sustaining institutions, driving productivity, and strengthening society despite prevailing economic challenges.

“Today, we celebrate the strength, courage, and commitment of Nigerian workers. Your contributions are the driving force behind development, and your sacrifices do not go unnoticed,” he said.

The commission chairman also lauded workers in the sports sector for their role in nurturing talent, promoting discipline, and projecting Edo State positively on both national and international stages.

He reaffirmed his commitment to improving workers’ welfare, creating opportunities, and sustaining policies that enhance performance across all levels of sports administration.

Enabulele further welcomed residents into the new month, expressing optimism for greater achievements and renewed hope.

“As we enter this new month, I encourage all Edo people to remain steadfast, focused, and united in our collective pursuit of progress. May this new month bring fresh opportunities, success, and fulfillment to every home,” he added.

He stressed the need for continued collaboration among stakeholders, noting that sustainable development can only be achieved through unity, diligence, and a shared vision for growth.
